League Rules

Last date to register your team is 07/23/2012 5 PM

Rules

1) All Matches played with Hard Tennis Ball


2) Each innings has 12 overs during league stage , Semi final and Final macthes will be 15 overs


3) No LBW's , No Free hits and leg byes  Extra runs will be counted for ( Wide , No Ball , Byes , Over Throws)


4) Each Bowler can maximum bowl 3 overs during all matches ( league matches & semi final & final)


5) Umpire decission will be final in the Field


6) Each innings will be start with New Ball ( we can provide semi new balls also if both captains agreed)


7) You team 11 players should arrive 15 mins before every match, If your team is not reached ground on time,As a penalty team arriving late may have overs reduced from their batting overs.


8) You have to pay Registration fee $55 before your first match.


9) We will update the Blog with all results and pictures during this touranment, http://iowacitycricketleague.blogspot.com/ plese keep checking for results and other details


10) Matches will be cancelled with bad weather and other conditions, All cancelled matches will be rescheduled or if schedule doesn't allow us during league matches we can give 1 point to each team.


11) Winning team will be awarded with 2 points, Incase of a same points, net runrate will be used to determine the top 2 in a
group


12) Only top 2 teams from each grouop will be entered to the Semi Final.


13) All semi final matches will be knock out matches


14) In case of a tie match a super over will decide the winner
